“Don’t ever let them look down on you because you are young but set the example in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
Mrs. Williams began serving in various ministries at a young age. Since she was small, she sometimes felt overlooked or not taken seriously. Her favorite Bible verse, 1 Timothy 4:12, spoke to her many times over the years. As she works with kids, it continues to speak to her. She joined Willamette Christian School in 2018.
Mrs. Williams earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a focus on early education and a minor in Bible studies. She enjoys interacting with her preschool kids and gets to know them and their families personally. She hopes her students learn that they can do hard things when they try their best, knowing that they are supported and loved.
In the classroom, beginning learners focus on letters, numbers and coming to understand Jesus’s love for them. They discover the world and things around them, develop social skills and learn how to appropriately interact and handle various materials, as well as social situations.
She is married and has a daughter who attends WCS. Some of her favorite activities are playing softball, snowboarding, camping and riding quads at the sand dunes. She listens to country music and reads mystery novels by authors like Mary Higgins Clark and Ridley Pearson. She enjoys the beach and Disney resorts and has always wanted to visit Australia.
“I am consistently amazed by my students and I’m learning from them as well because we are a team of learners on this adventure together. No one is too small or overlooked in order to be used by God to do amazing things or speak love into others heart and touch their lives.”
