Brandon Smith

Middle School History and Bible Studies Teacher

“Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:3-4

Mr. Smith teaches on the foundations of our democracy, our founders, the systems they built systems, the compromises and mistakes they made, how it all unfolded and how it applies to present day. Students also learn that Jesus is Lord, God is love and that He has an amazing plan for our Warriors and the world.

Mr. Smith joined the WCS team in 2012. He earned his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies at Eugene Bible College and his MBA at Northwest Christian University. He grew up as a pastor’s kid in the smallish town of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and is fond of fun facts. When he’s not teaching, he likes to jog, read, cook, drink strong coffee, practice guitar, draw and cheer on the Edmonton Oilers to certain victory. He also has a guppy named Don!

“I believe God has an amazing plan for mankind, the body of Christ, America and the students here at Willamette Christian School. I love talking about, learning about and praying about God’s heart for us.”
